An opportunity has arisen to work within a conveyancing department at a friendly law firm in the Honiton area. This is a great opportunity for someone who sees themselves as an organised, efficient and hard-working team player, from a legal background. The firm have a friendly, dynamic and professional feel and this opportunity would be working within a small, efficient and cohesive office, with a local and loyal client base.
Tasks will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls
- Audio typing
- Carrying our conveyancing administration tasks
- Taking messages and passing to the relevant parties
- Opening new client files and closing completed files
- Booking and arranging client appointments and meetings
- Supporting the business with filing, typing and photocopying
- Ensuring clients are looked after with excellent customer service
- General other administrative tasks as and when required
Skills and Experience Required:
For this role, experience of working with a knowledge of conveyancing would be a great advantage, as a lot of the duties will require a high level of competence with organising and meeting deadlines within a process driven operation. Strong typing speeds will also be an advantage, while a high level of accuracy and efficiency will ensure that deadlines are likely to be met. On top of the skills and experience, a positive, flexible and hard-working attitude is a must, as this will be working within a hard-working environment where the team shares responsibility for getting work completed.
